About Us
Afrofest Was Established in Asia in 2018. With success of its previous events Mr. Africa and Ms. Africa Malaysia, successfully achieving its goal of pan african culture spotlight and recognition in Malaysia, year after year.
Vision:
We aspire to foster a deep appreciation for African cultures and values within the diaspora, using the mediums of beauty, intellect, and entertainment to convey the message that one's potential knows no bounds, and cultural heritage is a source of strength and inspiration.

Our mission at AfroFest is to create a lasting legacy of AfroExcellence through captivating entertainment that illuminates the vibrant cultures, traditions, and intellectual prowess of Africans in the diaspora.

Afrofest Hungary 2024 will Host series of event categories with each having a series of task to be performed and demonstrated for votes from audience and judges
All Categories
Event Categories:
1. Ms. AfroExcellence Hungary:
A competition for up to 10 contestants vying for the title. Contestants will be evaluated based on their ability to showcase African cultural initiatives, exhibit local values, and demonstrate knowledge of diverse African countries. Each contestant will draw a number representing a specific African country and must present relevant information about it. A diverse panel of judges and representatives from the chosen countries will evaluate their performances, along with audience, fellow participant, and judge votes.
2. Mr. AfroExcellence Hungary:
Similar to the Miss category, Mr. AfroExcellence Hungary celebrates the essence of African masculinity. Contestants will engage in daily activities representing different African countries, demonstrating physical prowess, smart decision-making, and an understanding of cultural values. The intricate dance between traditional customs and contemporary challenges will be a focal point, encouraging contestants to embrace their heritage in new and creative ways. Voting will follow the same multi-faceted process as the Ms. AfroExcellence category.
3. Afro Upcoming Artist of the Year Hungary:
This category spotlights five talented aspiring musicians, each given two opportunities to captivate the audience and judges with their musical prowess. Engaging performances that establish a connection with the audience and showcase their unique style will determine the Afro Upcoming Artist of the Year Hungary. Judges and audience participation will play a pivotal role in determining the winner.
4. Afro Business/Personnel of the Year Hungary:
Recognizing outstanding achievements in business and professional endeavors within the Pan African community. Nominees will be evaluated on their contributions to economic growth, community empowerment, and innovation. A distinguished panel of industry experts will assess the nominees' accomplishments and impact.
5. Afro Student of the Year Hungary:
Acknowledging the academic excellence and social impact of Pan African students. Nominees will be assessed based on their scholastic achievements, community involvement, and leadership potential. An esteemed committee of educators and community leaders will determine the recipient.
6. Afro Music of the Year Hungary:
Honoring the musical masterpiece that best embodies the spirit, sounds, and stories of Africa in Hungary. A jury of music professionals and enthusiasts will assess the entries, recognizing the track that resonates most powerfully with the audience.
7. African DJ of the Year Hungary:
Celebrating the rhythmic talents of African DJs who elevate events with their electrifying beats. An assessment panel and audience votes will determine the African DJ of the Year Hungary.
8. Afro Social Media Personality of the Year Hungary:
Acknowledging individuals who creatively use social media to promote African cultures, values, and excellence. The impact of their online presence and engagement with the diaspora will be evaluated by a panel of digital influencers and social media experts.
9. Afro Creative Personnel of the Year Hungary:
Recognizing the brilliance of artists, designers, writers, and creators who celebrate African heritage through their craft. A panel of creatives and cultural experts will evaluate nominees' contributions to artistic expression and cultural preservation.
10. Afro Influencer of the Year Hungary:
Commending individuals who effectively leverage their influence to inspire positive change within the Pan African community. A combination of audience votes, community leaders, and a dedicated panel will determine the Afro Influencer of the Year Hungary.
